Me and my wife, had the chance to do paragliding in Krushevo, the highest town in the Balkans. We really enjoyed the tour, flew from Krushevo take off above Pelagonija Valley, for sure we will do it again.

I have heard about Macedonia and Krushevo as one of the most popular paragliding spots in Europe.
Decided to take a lessons for paragliding and I did the beginner course.
It was 10 days of intesive paragliding course, had the chance to do my first high altitude flights from Krushevo, paragliding is amazing, definitly coming back for the next season.
Layers work well – long sleeved tops, lightweight windproof jacket and jeans will do for training. It can be cooler at the top of a mountain, even when it is very warm in the valley.
We advice you to wear boots with ankle support for flying, if you bring trainers make sure you bring something with good grip on the soles.
The season is super hot from the end of April to End of September, it begins cooling down from October to February and begins to warm up from mid-Feb to end of April. In warmer months bring a swimming costume, as there is a beautiful freshwater lake or swimming pool that you can swim in at the end of a day’s flying.
Our houses do have washing machines, so if you get too muddy then there is always an option to wash your clothes.

With a steady breeze in the right direction a few steps is all that it takes to become air born. On lighter wind days a good run before the launch will be required.

All are welcome, we will happily pick them up from the airport when you both arrive, our house is lovely and relaxed with terraces to sit and read and wind down. We can’t guarantee a place in the bus to watch you fly, if we can we will of course, but pilots come first.
